Rather than the dialog that allows users to select from shutdown options that Windows launches after these Start menu items are clicked, we would like our executable to launch, which will display our own options to the user, and control the shutdown through this interface. We are open to C++ / VB, or other techniques will be considered. If you don't have the time to invest in it, then a clear explanation of how to do this is appreciated. We require very good commenting / documentation. There should be a simple demo that we can use to test, and ensure that it works. Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. Two files inside, run the exe, dll must present in the same folder. The sample works for Win2K shutdown only for demo purpose. Basically this method will works for Windows.
