Description:
I need a program in VB. Provide an explorer style of folder selection window, Have another window to display the files from the selected folder in a table format. I need 7 columns: Source name, size 1, size 2, size3, size 4, size 5, and size 6. Fill the source name column with the file name from the selected folder. I need to define the naming convention and sizing of the file for column 2 to 7.
This is the result I want
Column 1) jpc001.jpg (source name) size is usually 640X480 or larger Column 2) rename the file with i.jpg from .jpg and size proportion to 50x50, the result is file name jpc001i.jpg and size 50x37.5. Column 3) rename the file with a.jpg from .jpg and size proportion to 400x400, the result is file name jpc001i.jpg and size 400x300 For columns 4to 7 is the same concept.
Column 1 will read from selected folder. On column 2-6, I need a way to enter the naming convention to rename the file and enter the output file size.
From 1 source file I will end up with 7 files of different size and different name.
I also need this excel macro done also.
Same concept as above
On column A, I have the file name (can you read them in from the folder in the system, and I will type in the path)
On column B, generate the file name according to the same rule as above. The result will be jpc001i.jpg.
The same as for column C, E, F, G,H.
I think you need to provide me to specify the i.jpg in another sheet.
If you can come up with a better way, please make suggestion.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
pc

Hi,
I'm certified Microsoft programmer (MCP) working with VB / VC++ and web applications. I could make such an application for you. I'd suggest to make an ActiveX component with VB 6.0 and then you can use this component both in other VB application or even, from Excel. This component could have any forms you want with all columns described above. One component could be used in multiple places (VB, Excel, ...). To work with jpg files (save, scale, ...) it could be used Intel's library (is free!). All the job could be made in a couple of days (1-2), if you select me for this project. See some of my sites: vbwork.4mg.com or www21.brinkster.com/wwwexpert or see my previous rating.
Thanks. Ovidiu Crisan (MCP) |
