Description:
This project is to make a small interactive game based on Yahtzee (see e.g. http://www.ambleside.schoolzone.co.uk/ambleweb/yahtzee/index.html). The project requires you to write some classes as specified in the document that is attached (All classes.doc) Playing the game ---------------- You roll the dice by clicking on the roll button o (only the dice that are not held will roll) o (when you load the program the first roll has already happened) · After each roll you have to click on one or more dice to hold them and then you can reroll · When you are satisfied with your score or cannot roll any more, click on a score box to add the score for that combination of dice · At the end of each turn you must select a score box - even if it means you get zero!
Your Assignment --------------- Your task is to write your own version of the four java files below following the documentation (All classes.doc) of the classes and the behaviour of the demonstration program: · DiceCanvas.java · DiceGame.java · DiceGui.java · GraphDice.java
You must follow the documentation precisely - for example your programs must have exactly the methods defined in the documentation, with exactly the same names, number & order of parameters, etc. You are advised to break the task down into manageable stages.
You should submit all four java files that you have written.
You should not submit any files that do not compile - this would reduce your overall mark.
The graphical user interface can be designed in anyway you wish. The picture above is an example ------------------------------------------------------- There is another example of yahtzee at: http://javaboutique.internet.com/Yahtzee/ At this site you will also find the source code. ------------------------------------------------------
