Description:
I have a VB6.0 app that accesses an Access database and returns results of search queries in a table. Users have requested a Print, Save and Save As file menu be added to the results pages. I need help designing this file menu from start to finish but only for one result page and I will do the rest.
Deliverables:
While I don't need every result page coded, I would like a complete example of coding for a file menu on one results page of my program. The Print function should print the results table, not a screen shot, to a network printer, preferably by opening the users Print Properties window and letting them choose how and what. The save should save the results table only as a .txt file but with some formatting if possible (maybe .rtf or .doc would be better?). I'd also like the Save As to work with Excel and other popular formats. If I can get the coding from Module level on down to the actual subs for at least one result table, I can make it work with rest.
Special Conditions / Other:
The next version of the software is due for delivery by October 1 so my project request will have to be completed and in hand a couple weeks before that.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
