Description:
I need to hide a Serial Number in jpg images.
The Serial Number is alphanumeric and 8 Characters long.
The Serial Number should remain intact in case the image is altered (file renaming, cropping and increasing/decreasing of the compression rate up to +/- 20%).
The Serial Number should not be visible in the image (not a watermark style) , just hidden data.
I don´t want a full program.
I need a Visual Basic 6 Module.
The Module-Input for the 'Hide-SN-in-Image-Part' should be:
1. path/to/image.jpg As String
2. SerialNumber As String
3. path/to/save/processed/image.jpg
(As you can see, the Module has to save the processed image)
The Module-Input for the 'Recover-SN-from-Image-Part' should be:
path/to/image-to-process.jpg As String
The Module-Output from the 'Recover-SN-from-Image-Part' should be:
SerialNumber As String
If no Serial Number is found the String should be empty.
You can use temp files (Application Path) if needed.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working Module
for Visual Basic 6.
The programmer can hold the copyrights.
I need only an agreement that I can use the module in my own programs.

VB6, Windows9x,2000
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Jun 8, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
