I need to be able to run my app. on any machine without installing it. You can do this just fine by using an OCX, but not an OCX requiring a DLL. I tried contacting the author with no response. They say on their website that you can combine the required DLL (source code available on website) so the end-user doesn't need the DLL, but I haven't been able to figure it out. I can't tell if you're able to combine the DLL into the OCX or if you have to include it in your VB app. The reason I'm using S-Grid is I need a *lot* of interactive ListView-type updating, but without the flicker (FlexGrid is horrible). Nothing solves the ListView flicker, plus S-Grid allows you to hide rows and columns and does many other things, as well as being FREE and fast. You may want to try it before accepting the bid. All the source code for the OCX and DLL appears to be in VB.
