Our client has submitted to us, in MS Word format, about 335 new items to be added to their audio book shopping cart system. The work for each item would involve: 1) Cutting and pasting the item description from the MS Word into an HTML template (in Notepad) 2) Replacing the item number references in the template with the correct item number 3) Saving the html document as [itemnumber].html 4) Cut and paste the some of the remaining information (retail price, sale price, author, title, etc.) from the MS Word to an Excell file containing all of the site's sale items. 5) Cut and paste the some of the remaining information (retail price, rental price, author, title, etc.) from the MS Word to an Excell file containing all of the site's rental items. 6) Change the case of each title from All caps to standard title case. Add the links using the titles in our "Browse by all Titles" and the specific letter file "Browser Titles starting with the letter [?]" If the author does not exist, create a new author heading. 7) Add the links using the titles in our "Browse by all Authors" and the specific letter file "Browser Authors starting with the letter [?]. Or for a one-time cut&paste; work? This bid is for a program, written in C++ and working at Windows platform + usage instructions + all the changes made this time by myself using the program (then you can repeat the process by yourself and see whether the results are the same and the resulting files are working on client's site).
