Description:
i want to be able to allow users to access my access database97 on my web
Deliverables:
I am looking for a one page ASP solution to have my database be quried on my site. The database is access97 and I have attached a sample copy. The main data table is “Mf-dat3” which for purposes on evaluation is merely a table but I need this to be a linked table to a text file - Mf-dat3-auto is the linked file that has been renamed. This linked tet file will be updated regularly and all data must be change with it
I want the output to be the same as the report - “MF-main-dat” - that is the data only, the formatting is flexible
The user must be able to narrow the results from one of three main regions in “asset Class”, then again under group, they must be able to sort the data ascending or decending and must be able to filter for values above or below on 4 different categories (headings) such as 4wk return or up pot.

Here is a demo. This demo meets your requirements, and of course, is referencing the linked text file (MF-dat3-auto), not the table (MF-dat3). The only thing I didn't add is the filtering capability because the specifics weren't too clear. If you get me specifics on the columns you want to be able to filter on, it'll be easy to add in.
As far as sorting, the default sort order is Asset Class/Group/Description. To sort on any of the columns, just click their header to toggle between ascending and descending sort order.
Again, just get me the details regarding the filtering and I'll plug that in.
