Description:

ASSIGNMENT #2

1. Code a Java class suser that contains a main method that will test the s class. Do not place suser within the s_p package.
Have suser test s class by:
a. creating s records:
S1, Jones, 10, Boston
S2, Smith, 20, Paris
b. using the printall method to print all the s records.
c. using the select method to print the S2 record.
d. changing the name of Smith to Solomon.
e. using the select method to prove the name was changed.
f. deleting the S1 record.
g. using the printall method to prove that S1 was deleted.

Make sure that you print (using println) labels in your output so I can easily identify the output in (b) - (g).

2. Code a Java class actives in the package s_p. actives extends s so that it has a new private field sp of type set.sp holds references to the p records for the parts that the supplier supplies.

The constructor for actives takes as its arguments the snum, sname, status, city, of the new actives record, as well as the maximum number of parts the supplier can supply and a return code argument. The constructor then initializes the s fields of the new actives record, adds the new actives record to the s allset, and creates the sp set for the new actives
record. The return code is -1 if the s allset is full, and 0 otherwise.

Also, code in actives a new method insertp that takes a pnum as its argument, and then adds the indicated part to the sp set of the actives record. insertp returns -1 if the sp set is full, and 0 otherwise.

Override the s print method with an actives print method that will print the s information for the actives record and then print the p information for the parts referenced in the sp set of the actives record.

Code a printp method in actives that just prints the p information for the parts referenced in the sp set of the actives record.

Code a deletep method in actives that takes a pnum as its argument and deletes that part from the sp set of the actives record. If the p record was found, deletep returns -1.Otherwise, deletep returns -1.

Finally, code a selectp method in actives that takes a pnum as its argument and prints the p information for all the p records, referenced in the sp set of the actives record, that match the pnum argument.selectp returns the number of hits.
THERE IS LITTLE MORE PART HERE BUT COULD NOT FIT IN .
WILL GIVE THAT IF YOU R WILLING TO DO.
