Description:

I rethought what I want I wasn't expecting bids from India, Romania, Canada and got to thinking I shouldn't limit my market to 152,000 Americans.

I want to create a program for all people. I want to be able to generate a lot of quizzes based on large quantities of differing topics. It needs to direct the customer easily through multiple choices.

A good model for the program is located at
http://www.planet-source-code.com

I LIKE THIS INTERFACE THE BEST.

Who wants to be a Millionaire. Submitted by Kevin Tierney. Code ID 28783

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Submitted by Hades
Code ID 6760

This primitive version has an extra command line. Which states is this your final answer. I like that additional field.

Type Who Wants Millionaire into the Search Visual Basic Code to Find it.

The program must not stop when you loose.

The program needs to have theses fields for every question

Question Number
Question
Multiple Choice Answers

Answer for Question

Explanation box for Correct Questions
[which explains why the wrong answers are wrong and sends you to next question.]

Explanation box for Incorrect Questions

All wrong answers need to be added to a data base which will rereviews the questions later.

Example if the course has 1000 Questions and you missed 538 Questions while taking it. The computer will reinserve the 538 questions into the working file. So you can come back to it and make sure you know it.

It also needs to mark whether you are just guess and randomly or seriously studying.

If you randomly guess and get the answer correct. You may still fail the licenser exam. Since you truly needed to review the question you guessed on and got correct.

The program should randomly reinsert a percentage of questions you got correct.

If it checked every 10 Questions and you got 6 correct and 4 false. The four incorrect questions would also have gotten reinserted into the program. But your not doing very good. So as a penalty- the game would need to reinsert half of the amount missed.

(10- 6)/2
(10- incorrect) then divided by two.
The program would reinsert two correctly answered questions back into the program to be quizzed on later. Because you only had 60% write.

Deliverables:
The program needs to have an instructors version and a student version. It needs to have a template for attaching questions files.

It needs to have a post test version which records every answer. It automatically grades the post test and computes the score. It must show me every answer graded as correct or incorrect and show me the percentage correct.

Each Question needs to have room for 250 words length for the question.

Each answer option needs room for 250 word answer option.

Examples of good test grading software can be found at
to help with ideas.

http://go.to/wdwtbam
http://www.atrixware.com

Excellent Example of AutoGrading at

http://school.discovery.com/quizcenter/quizcenter.html

When the program is finished I want to be able to distribute it in a download form on http://www.download.com

It needs to have a code limits the program to only a 100 Question game in the trail version.

Once they pay the registration fee they get access to the 3000 Question version.

It would be vary nice if the program had voice recognition. So you could answer a question by answering C

also
Installed onto CD with a Setup.exe file

Platform:
Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Internet Explorer.

It would be helpful if the program could be run on a web page.

Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Oct 31, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.

Special Conditions / Other:
I want a coder which will continue to be available and can create additional items periodically to the software.

More Concerned with Quality than Actual Bidding Price. This needs to look sharp.

It should be a very simple program.

Additional Files:
This bid request includes IMPORTANT additional attached files. Please download and read fully before bidding.

Bidding/Comments:
All monetary amounts on the site are in United States dollars.
Rent a Coder is a closed auction, so coders can only see their own bids and comments. Buyers can view every posting made on their bid requests.

Hi there I'll love to do the project. Here is my plan (after viewing the specifications) - I'll use Visual Basic for the front end. - It'll be good if we use a little database as the backend (like Access 2000 or so), otherwise we can use encrypted text files to hold questions/answers and other related information..like scores, missed questions records etc. - As ..this product should be very pleasant to use. We can use Flash Animations/Effects in some parts (like congratulations/warning/time up/Oh No../You Lose etc). I am very good in graphic designing and animation. So i'll add surprise screens or pop-ups, which will be used randomly, and the user will see something new, everytime he/she will use the program (actualy he will wait for something to happen after some experiences). And also as this product will be medical related..we can use skeltons and other related graphics. - Also we can display related graphics with questions. - I can not only add voice recognation, i can also give the option to user to select a voice/or a live character which will talk with the user/ and which can read the questions for the user. - I'll give you a solid and secure application. Trial version will have limited questions (as you say) but you can also other usage (like time limit/or number of use limit)..we can discuss on this. - I'll help you in improving the application after the completion of project. - I guarantee bug free and fully documented work. I fully understand other requirements and i can give you a better user interface/better functioning application. I am a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, so you can expect quality work from me. Please feel free to contact me, we'll discuss it further. Thanks Looking forward to work with you. Kaschif
