Description:
Develop a 3-dimensional Noughts and Crosses game. The game should be played on a 4x4x4 cube such that players (a human versus the computer) alternately place a cross or nought in any empty unit cube (in any of the 64 unit cubes generated for a 4x4x4 cube). The first player to occupy 4 consecutive cubes with noughts or crosses in a straight line (in any dimension) wins. The "draw" condition is defined when all unit cubes have been occupied with noughts or crosses without a winner. The system should use a graphical user interface, ask the players to make their moves, announce the winner or a draw as necessary, and be implemented using Visual Basic for Applications and Excel.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
The program will enable the user to play the 3-D Noughts and Crosses game against the computer. The system should be self-explanatory and provide help on how to play the game if necessary. Produce a document (in MS Word 2000) validating the model, presenting the results for at least 20 games, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the implemented model, and evaluating the technology used for implementation. Produce a document (in MS Word 2000) which should clearly set out the taget(s) for system development, identify functionality and limitation of the proposed system. Produce a docoment (in MS Word 2000) defining the user interface, and the logic to be implemented within the system. The rationale supporting the decisions taken during the design should also be provided. The system should use a graphical user interface, ask the players to make their moves, announce the winner or a draw as necessary, and be implemented using Visual Basic for Applications and Excel 2000. The computer model should have the filename "TicTacKWF00.xls"
Platform:
Microsoft Excel 2000. Windows 95 (and higher)

Dear sir,
Thank you for inviting me to bid on this project.
I can do the application in two days. (if you will give me that project, please try to respect that).
The application will not be a problem, but I have a few questions:
1) How strong should the computer play?
- stupid (random moves)
- beginner (few conditions implemented)
- medium
- hard (never to loose, (if the problem permit that) )
2. What do you mean by 'The computer model'?
All the best,
Marius.
P.S. Game will not be a problem to be done, but I will need substantial help to tell me how you want documentation. |
