Description:
Hi There, I have downloaded a c++ client/server application from planetsourcecode and I am interesting in making it work as a peer to peer application. It should be able to handle many concurrent users (ie. a la Napster or Gnutella) too. If the modification works out fine, the project will grow (adding security and compression), etc.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
win95 and above
Must be 100% finished and received by buyer on:
Apr 1, 2002 EDT
Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
If you notice a violation please help out the site and report it. Thanks for your help.

I&'ve already got this type of engine. I wrote it for my personal needs and it hasn&'t been used anywhere. It supports both client/server and peer-to-peer sending ability. It also has stub functions for security. This project is written in VC and tested under Win 98 and Win 2000. It creates TCP communication, so it is very stable. Also it can support any DB (using ODBC) for storing messages. Thus, you can be sure that your messages didn&'t disappear somewhere. See attached documentation. |

I&'m sorry I forgot to explain low cost of the project having such functionality. I just want to keep my copyrights for source codes. U can use them in your projects just like a legal copy of my sources. |
