It should be able to handle many concurrent users (ie. a la Napster or Gnutella) too. If the modification works out fine, the project will grow (adding security and compression), etc. Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. I wrote it for my personal needs and it hasn&'t been used anywhere. It supports both client/server and peer-to-peer sending ability. It also has stub functions for security. This project is written in VC and tested under Win 98 and Win 2000. It creates TCP communication, so it is very stable. Also it can support any DB (using ODBC) for storing messages. Thus, you can be sure that your messages didn&'t disappear somewhere. See attached documentation.
