Description:
Through your meetings, you also determined the information that must be maintained for each book in the inventory. The following information will be stored in the ?inBooks.dat? inventory file for each book: · Title (50 characters max.) · Author?s last name (30 characters max.) · Author?s first name (20 characters max.) · Price · Publisher (30 characters max.) · ISBN · Copyright date · Quantity on hand (in stock) · Status (1 for an in-print book or 0 for an out-of-print book) Assignment : Write a C++ program (called ?Bookstore?) that has the following functions that have names without a strikethrough : Function Name Function description intro() displays the bookstore?s name along with a list of options available to the users of the system. read_inv() reads data from the inventory file and then prints this information to the screen. menu() displays the choice of options, then returns the selection made by the user. daily_report() produces a daily sales report quit() ends the inventory program. sell() this function receives a book number and inventory quantity, then it prompts the user to enter the number of copies being sold and ensures enough copies are in stock to fulfill the order, otherwise it alerts the user that the transaction could not be completed. list_one() displays the information for one item in the inventory. list_all() displays the information for all items in the inventory. search() searches the inventory for a particular book title, and returns the information found sort() sorts the inventory data structure according to the lexicographical ordering of the titles write_inv() writes the inventory data out to a disk file. delivery() this function reads the items in a file called newBooks.dat, and updates all of the items in the inventory.
