Description:
I need a Procedure in VB that will compute the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a square symmetric matrix of any dimension
Example: Sub EigenSolve(M() as double, EVL() as Double, EVC() as Double, ErrorValue as Integer)
Inputs: M() -- a 0-based (n x n - size) array holding the elements of the matrix.
Outputs: EVL() - a 0-based (n-size) array containing the eigenvalues EVC() - a 0 based (n x n - sized ) array. Each column k of the array should represent an eigenvector that corresponds to k eigenvalue of the EVL() array ErrorVaue - Contains Error Codes if operation not succesful
Deliverables: Just this procedure with comments for every step and an explanation for the method that has been used.
