Bob, I like this idea. [1] Will provide Signup screen where bowlers enter their names. The initial number of bowlers will be configurable by you. There will be a 'More Bowlers' button, which will provide additional name entry fields. [2] Each game will be given a number, which will be stored so that an uncompleted game can be retrieved. [3] The score sheet screen will look just like a regular bowling score sheet. [4] The sheet will auto-submit when each bowler completes their frame. [5] Ball by ball detail will be stored on the server in a file for each game. [6] The current bowler&'s line and frame will be highlighted (different colors). [7] Strikes, spares, and splits will be checkboxes. [8] When the game is complete, there will be an ‘Another Game?&' button. [9] If the same bowlers play several games, multi-game statistics (averages, who won) will be kept and displayed at the end of each successive game. [10] A configuration file will contain all the color scheme information. [11] The header will be a separate template, which you can customize to your liking, and change at any time without having to enter the program. [12] Programming will be in Perl using CGI interface.
Thank you for your consideration.
