Designed and wrote a multithreaded MFC DLL to act as an interface between a GUI application and device driver. System would simultaneously flash up to 24 modems with a customer selected modem image. The DLL searched all installed NICS for any modems, created and maintained sessions to each modem and maintained a state table to track the status of the modems during the process.
Designed and wrote a PC qualifying tool that gathered statistics on a PC, and based on the results obtained presented the user with a list of modems that would be acceptable with the discovered hardware. Program was totally .INI file driven, all messages, images, questions, and requirements were controlled through the .INI file.
Supported and maintained old Installshield based installer. Troubleshooted language conversion problems moving installer into Western and Asian languages. Coded maintenance work on GUI app to display modem statistics.
