my name is Richard Stivers, and I'm a 30 year old who lives in the United States. I'm currently working at a small developemnt firm as a Senior Applications Developer. I have been developing both Client Server, Web and Database applications professionally for the last five years mainly in Visual Basic, ASP, and SQL Server. My job requires that I not only develop such applications but also act as the Analyst/Project Manager. I often gather requirements, create the necessary documentation, and develop the application. I have completed over ten complete life cycle applications in two years.

I have formal training and a degree in Management Information Systems. I believe the strength that I possess that other developers lack is the business background to truly understand what a business client needs. Another strength I possess is the ability to listen to a client's needs and develop an application that fulfills those needs.

I will be available between 12-14 hours daily between 8am and 10pm EST via IM, E-mail, or by phone to respond to any questions you might have.
