I have been working as Independent Contractor for Imatcher, Inc (an E-Commerce company) and I have played lead roles in development of the various projects. The tools used are Oracle 9i, Oracle 8i, JDBC, JDK 1.3, Servlets, Beans, Oracle 9ias, IIS 5.0, Visual Studio, CSharp, HTML 4.0. HTML 3.0, JSCRIPT, CSS and JavaScript. I have hands on experience in administering as well Oracle 9ias, IIS 5.0, Apache Tomcat 4.x web servers as well.
I have proven skills in Oracle 6.0/ 7.x/ 8.0, Developer 2000 (Forms 4.5/ 5.0, Reports 2.5/ 3.0, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Graphics Designer), Designer 2000 (Design Editor, ERD, FHD and RON) and Oracle Browser 2.0. As an Oracle Designer I am currently involved in a major IBM project for the Latvian Government. Previous to this I worked in the banking and financial sector for two years in Eastern Europe, where my technical expertise in Oracle was enhanced while working on multiple projects simultaneously. I have in-depth knowledge of Data warehousing pertaining to Oracle Application Tuning and generating scripts for schema in one database and transferring the data to an alternative one for the production phase. I also have hands-on experience in UNIX (shell scripts), SCO*UNIX, C (Curses, Menus, Panels and File I/O). I have strong knowledge of back office systems and can handle the messages MT1xx to MT9xx sent across the S.W.I.F.T. Network. I have experience in the full project life cycle, have good communication skills and have the ability to work on an individual basis or as part of a team.

Nat was great to work with! He took on this very complex and challenging project and turned it around just the way needed. He took my requirements, analyzed them, provided me feedback with the 'extras' he would put in that would stabilize the program and provide enhanced security. He was always thinking one step ahead of me, and that is great! I have to take away one point for just that reason though. (Sorry Nat!) As great as the progressive thinking was, the focus in the future should be to finish the project within the original requirements requested and within the timeframe. That notwithstanding, I will definitely work with him again in the future as we continue through various phases of this project. Just that there will be a more tightly defined timeline/deliverables and anticipatory discussions. I must also congratulate Nat on the work ethic. We have a 12 hour time difference, but Nat toiled through the midnight hours as I worked through my business hours, and provided me constant feedback to let me know what he was up to... Once again, Thanks Nat! |
