I have worked in the industry since 1984.
I have experience in developing a wide range of applications on stand-alone, LAN based, mini-computer and mainframe systems. These applications tend to be heavily integrated, component-based packages, including mission-critical applications, with distributed databases. The majority of projects have been enterprise-level systems and many have been developed for the Windows environment, or the Internet/intranet platform. These n-tier, and client-server systems have been deployed in a MTS/COM+ environment utilising a Windows NT Server or Windows 2000 Server back-end with SQL-Server and IIS, with both Web and VB clients.
I have extensive experience with Visual Basic. I have worked with a number of Australian Government departments to develop and deploy applications of all sizes. I have worked at all levels, from Analyst/Programmer to Technical Lead, and Business Analyst.
