Development of Visual Basic 6.0/Access 97 Interface application for accounting department of leasing company/bank. The application runs automatically on a daily schedule, imports and exports text file data and provides a method to transfer G/L data from the local leasing company UNIX server to the headquarter bank mainframe. Other technologies used include WinFTP software and scripts for file transfers.
Development of Visual Basic 5.0/Access 97/Crystal Reports 5.0/DAO Order/Shipment Tracking system for the shipping department of a non-profit organization. The application tracks food needs, requests and shipments made during each fiscal year for counties in need, generates standard government reports and custom reports, provides a method to find data based on any field, provides on-line help via user-changeable text files and multiple views of data (detail view and browse view).
