After staffing this division of the company I began developing the programming and web development division of the company, successfully designing and creating software applications for Dell, The Genesis Program and many non-profit agencies. During this time I developed my skills as a software project manager and strengthened my skills in ASP, ASP.NET, SQL and IIS. Mosley Enterprises has grown from a company with one employee and one customer to a company with 10 employees that did over $1 million in sales in 2002. Texas Department Of Human Services (CONTRACT through COMSYS) March 2001 - July 2001 Austin, TX Position: Lead Systems Analyst (Network/Database Administration) Duties: Direct Network administrator and PC Support for 165 workstations and 6 servers in a 12,000-workstation environment. Including 1 Windows 2000 FTP Server running IIS 5; 2 Windows NT 4 File Servers; 2 Clustered Windows 2000 Advanced Servers Running SQL Server Enterprise; 1 Windows 2000 Server Running Print Services and Web Based 3270 Emulation Software and Veritas Backup Exec. Develop backup procedures and disaster recovery plans. Develop Access 97 and 2000 databases to help automate office functions, such as dynamic word documents and security reporting. Duties also included project design and management of 5 projects. (1) 165 Workstation installation with Windows 2000 rollout; (2) Backup server implementation; (3) Domain design and Implementation for our own independent network infrastructure; (4) Shared files cleanup of 16 gigs worth of data owned by over 250 users; (5) Electronic reports implementation to replace over 20,000 pages of hard reports daily. Migrate Windows NT 4.0 Servers and Workstations to Windows 2000 Professional, Server and Advanced Server. Perform remote network administration and internal network administration, including managing multiple Veritas backup servers. Administration of internet information technology including IIS 3,4 and 5, Exchange Server 5.5 and 2000. I have performed DNS, IIS and Exchange server migrations on at least a weekly basis. Designed and implemented many WAN and remote office solutions such as Citrix Metaframe and Terminal Server. During my employment at On Site I attained my QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification and worked on my combination MCSE and MCDBA 2000 certification. Responsible for all major purchasing decisions of web hosting equipment and internal servers. Administration included over 100 websites, 400 email accounts and 20 E-Commerce sites, as well as 100 dialup accounts. Microchip Computers June 1999 - June 2000 Austin, TX Position: Technical Coordinator / Purchasing Duties: Purchased over $1 Million of product monthly. I also provided administration for all Windows NT 4.0 internal servers and performed all client server migrations. Worked with all technicians to implement standard operating procedures for the installation of Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 in the manufacturing end of the business. Interspring Communications (Division of AmbiaTech) January 1999 - June 1999 Austin, TX Position: Senior Network Administrator Duties: During this time I perfected many of my networking skills and learned to work more efficiently with networks and routers. I provided network administration for both Interspring Communications and its customers using Windows NT Server 4.0, Windows NT Workstation 4.0 and Windows 95/98. Administration included working with DHCP servers using TCP/IP and Network Address Translation to satisfy IP address requirements for growing companies. Performed administration of all DNS Servers and apache web servers. Worked with two other network administrators during this time to fulfill the needs of this brand new company including expanding business into telecommunications using Altisys phone systems. AmbiaTech, Inc March 1998 - June 1999 Austin, TX Position: Manager of Technical Services Duties: Environmental Engineering firm. Worked with upper level management to implement new odor control systems in the field. In order to fill communications needs, I was moved to the spin off, Interspring Communications. During the time that I worked at Ambiatech I performed research and development in the area of toxicology and animal waste control and odor control. I also worked to develop new business plans for the future expansion of the business. Consider It Done Computer & Internet May 1997 - March 1998 Austin, TX Position: Service/Tech Manager Duties: Managed Service department of a small computer shop in Austin, Texas. Duties included managing in-house technicians, as well as on-site technicians. Designed and implemented internal and customer networks using various hubs, routers, switches and proxy servers. Gained professional experience with Windows NT Server and Workstation, including Windows NT 4.0 and Windows NT 3.51. Performed on-site service and instruction for customers using QuickBooks Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Word Perfect Suite, Lotus Smart Suite and all Microsoft Office Products.
