I was responsible for the creation of a stock divedend, proxy and tax letter application that is being used by 200+ users. The applications were developed with vb 5 and sql server 7.0. My position required extensive knowledge of relational databases, report creation and custom front-end applications to interact with a database. Databases were created using SQL server 7.0 and the front-end&'s are developed in Access 97 and Visual Basic 5.0. My duties also included creating web seminar registration pages that interact with a SQL database via ASP and ADO technology, administration of the databases, developing tools to analyze and maintain data integrity and training of new data analysts on a one on one basis.

I provided technical support for Microsoft Access. I was in the MIT (Mentor In Training) program, which entailed answering technical questions from support engineers and making callbacks on issues that were not solved. I was also in charge of providing VBA/ASP training to engineers that have been on the phones more than 6 months. The training involved the engineer to create a relational Access database completely in code, an ASP page to access the database and attend classes that pertained to each module of the project. The project was developed by me and is now a part of the mandatory training. I then transferred to the Languages department, which involved phone technical support for C/C++ and SDK for the last 6 months of employment.
