I have notice the
date of your submision because I've got
a Delphi FAQ from several years ago in
which this way of making it is
explained.
I suggest you not to use
a fixed name and location for the file,
unless you are installing it from
another application.
What I use is
the EXEName property of
Application,
then it should
state:
reg.WriteString('Hacked',Appli
cation.EXEName);
Further improvement
is to change the registry data
('Hacked') by the program's
name
reg.WriteString(
ChangeFileExt(
ExtractFileName(Application.EXEName),
''),
Application.EXEName);
In
this case the unit SysUtils must be
included in the uses statment.
