(About the author)

     This is one asp file that will allow you to view/add/edit/delete records in any database table. All you need to do is change a couple of parameters at the top of the file to point to your database/table/key field. I know this will make my life allot easier. This one file replaces five deferent files needed to do the same things. I hope you can use this.

I would rather not upload the
Northwind.mdb file because of its size.
 If your running MS Office you have it.
 Just do a search for it or use one of
your own Database's. This file will
work with any Access database and SQL
Server database if you change the get
db string. I tried to send you an
e-mail with the northwind DB but your
mail box is full.

I get an error running your
code.
Microsoft JET Database Engine
(0x80040E07)
Line 227  - Set
MyRs=MyConn.Execute(MySQL)
I don't
know how to fix it. By the way I'm
using a access database.

This sounds like it may be the table
you are grabbing. Try putting []
around your table name, like

This is a great script but the edit is
not working for me. I have a table with
a key field that is indexed, no
duplicates. I use the edit feature and
change information and nothing is
changed. The add and delete work great!

I checked it on my side and seams to
work fine. The only things I can think
of is:
1.Make sure your key field is
name "ID"
2.Is your Key field an
AutoNumber field? It should be. I just
tried the ID as a number and it
broke.

Meant to say it was "not" named ID.
