| | | With this Client side/Server side (JScript/VBScript) functions you can define a Mask for a text input field, allowing the user to enter only desired characters or string in a desired fashion. For example, to allow users to enter only phone numbers in form of "(123) 456-7890" you would define a Mask as: "(999) 999-9999". The client-side function (JScript) will not allow the user to enter any invalid character as they are typing it! Any character in a Mask that is not reserved mask character (see picture) is treated as text and copied to user input field in the right place. In a former example, the user even does not have to type brackets, space and hyphen - they will be inserted as needed. Additionally, you can use server side (VBScript) functions to mask/unmask user's entry after form submission and before you save it to DB or whatever you want to do with it.
