(About the author)

This is a windows-like file/directory dialog that is a useful to any administrative script you create. <br><br> For example, now you can allow a user of your ASP program to pick a gif/jpg file from their site for use as a logo graphic without having to type in the full path. Also works great for setting directory locations. I'm using it in a web hosting administrative program to allow users to pick directories they want to create an FTP login for.<br><br> When the 'select' button is pushed, it sets the input textbox with a virtual path to the file your user selected.<br><br> Uses javascript enabled browsers. Compatible with *both* Netscape and Internet Explorer

hey,
I am pretty new to implementing
asp into an html page so this I guess
is a pretty basic question. See, my
project is to implement a tree sorts
or
menu sorts program that can look
through a server that lists a bunch
of
files. I have no idea how to
implement
this program to that idea.
I am running a Unix SunOs server
and
basically just wanted to look
through
my directories and on files
that can be
opened, open them in my
web page. Sorry
for such a long and
probably easy
implementation question
but any help
would be GREATLY
appreciated.
Thanks
