the time to do this.
|
11/10/2000 3:25:24 PM:Kim Lord Thank you for the tutorial!!!!!
I work
at a large corporation that takes
forever to get new training materials
ordered.
|
11/11/2000 7:26:15 PM:Barry Daniel Lavallee I want to thank the author very much
for this ASP tutorial! The timing was
absolutely impecable. I am a student
Programmer Analyst/Internet Solutions
Developer (what a mouthful) and have
just spent 6 months studying VB and
database programming...I am also about
to start ASP...so needless to say the
tutorial was invaluable. I have already
read it through once...it is very well
written, easy to understand, but
mostly...very practical. Thank you so
much for this valuable contribution!
|
11/15/2000 5:32:24 PM:Kenneth Gilbert Jr. WOW! Thanks for the big book o' ASP!
|
11/17/2000 9:10:44 AM:jarboy This is an excellent reference
document, suitable for beginners
and experienced ASP developers.
|
11/23/2000 9:20:35 PM:Garrock Excellent condensed reference!
I
have the book; Sams Teach Yourself
Active Server Pages in 21 Days. It is
the LARGE version.
This condensed
reference is worth keeping on the
desktop for fast access to the topics
related to ASP development.
|
11/23/2000 9:25:07 PM:Garrock Excellent Condensed Reference!
I
have the book "Teach Yourself Active
Server Pages 3.0" by SAMS. It is the
LARGE version.
However, this
condensed reference is worth keeping on
your desktop.

|
12/27/2000 11:32:51 PM:Ambarish I am mcsd and just begun to learn
asp.Can i do it ?
|
12/27/2000 11:58:33 PM:Manas Tungare Oh yes, you can! This is quite a
primer, so for the really, *really*
advanced stuff, you'll have to wait a
little - I'm working on
it!
Regards,
Manas.
|
12/29/2000 8:01:28 PM:Preston The tutorial is nice, though in error
when the author mentions you need IIS
or PWS to run asp pages. ASP
extensions are available on Linux,
Unix, and Novell based web servers.
|
12/30/2000 12:03:18 AM:Manas Tungare Yes, they are available. At the time of
writing, I had not been able to work on
those - so look out for version 2 of
the Guide soon!
By the way, I
certainly don't think that it was "in
error" when I said you need IIS or PWS!
Just that there *are* other platforms
now available doesn't make the original
two invalid.
Regards,
Manas.

1/17/2001 9:59:49 PM:Eugene Nice job. I have used this document as

5/9/2001 1:36:53 PM:Derek Concise and well written. This was
easy to understand for beginners, and
had info for the intermediate level
programmer which I am sure to be
referencing at a later date. I
appreciated the fact that you covered
some of the areas that cause people to
get hung up when they start ASP.
|
5/18/2001 11:25:05 AM:jass I have downloaded this articule but due
to issues out of my control, I have

those skills you possess.
