| | This tutorial (with source) is for you, just if you need to add a new dimension to your VB Skills. Break out from those old looking forms and sleepy dialogs, mix VB with Flash to create wonders. Vote for me just if you find this one useful (you will :)). Most of these concepts are from my own experiments and experience. Create great looking skin able apps (with remote interfaces), cool e cards, presentations, and you name it :). See the screenshot below, and download the code. Commented well, easy to follow - motivate yourself and start now.. | |

If you are so crazy with flash,
why not just trash VB??
Flash can
make stand alone .exe´s you know?
|
7/7/2002 12:11:22 PM:Stephen dont trash vb, yes flash is great, but
its even more limited than vb!

flash is my choice for animation
programs.

7/7/2002 1:23:52 PM:Anoop Madhusudanan Nice conversation going on about Flash
and VB?.. lol. I don't wanna thrash VB,
coz I'm using it for 4-5 years. Oops,
I'm not 'crazy' or anything about Flash
either :). Let me put it this way..
Flash is great as a cool, light weight
interface designer- and VB is great as
a RAD. Both of them are for different
purposes, and hence, a comparison
itself is out of scope. This tutorial
is to teach you how to combine both, to
add a new dimension to your VB
applications. Enjoy
