(About the author)

***DataBase Added, sorry bout that....*** This is a simple introduction to COldFusion that instructs the user how to gather information from a database based on a certain criteria. In this Example I used a simple 2 word query to search for the correct Data. This is your basic Login\Password type program. The User is introduced to a page containing a field for the ID, and Password respectively. In this case.... The password is always gonna be a number. So I set it up so if a potential user is trying to enter passwords that is not a number, a count begins. THis will also demonstrate a way to pass data from one page to another. Because that is how the count is maintaned. This application is not meant to be balls to the wall solid. security wise. All you have to is back up once you have reached the limit of invalid, non-numeric passwords. It would probably take a monkey 10 minutes to figure out that the password is a number of some sort.
