Description:
Write and test the following two shell scripts. Turn in scrip files on a floppy disk, as a tar archive. Turn in printouts of the scripts as well
1. Write a shell script that will:
a. receive as input a pathname to a directory as its only argument b. print error message (to stderr) if current number of command line arguments is not present. Exit after error message with a unique error value. c. check to insure that directory is a valid argument (that it exists and that user has access permission). Print error message and exit if it is not, with a different error value than in b. d. if the directory is valid, locate all files ending in ".c" from that directory. All subordinate directories should also be searched.
e. The complete list of files ending with ".c" is sorted and printed on stdout, pausing after each screen of display. f. name the script showc. usage showc /home/student1
2. Write a shell script that will copy a file to an archive directory adding the extension .old" to the original file name.
a. name the script archive b. accept two command line arguments, the first is the file to archive, the second is the directory pathname to archive it in.
c. check for correct number of arguments and existence of file and directory Print message to stderr. Exit after error message with a unique error value.
d. usage: archive file1 /home/student1/homework The result will be a file /home/student1/homework/file1.old
All shell scripts should begin with a documentation line explaining the usage of the program
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
Complete copyrights to all work purchased.

Needs to operate in a LINUX OS

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
