Description:
I need a word document and powerpoint that will explain to my sales people everything they will need to know to provide networking services to small, medium, and large clients from pulling and certifying cable to setting up equipment. These sales people will be pitching to company executives and consultants so they must know what they are talking about! This they will learn from the deliverables. I need to offer at least 3 different configurations for each type of client, so for example, I would like 3 different ways I can network a small business (product-wise), 3 ways for a medium business, and 3 ways for a large business. When you figure out each of the packages above keep in mind that their prices should be progressive without sacrificing quality. For example: package 1 would cost $50,000, package 2 $70,000, and etc and please explain what the difference is between each configuration and what advantages one has over the other. For each item that you include you must provide estimates and pricing information for equipment and cable pull services, and provide detailed information about the products you choose and their prices. In the end, I would like to distribute this to my sales people and they will be able to provide the client with an itemized list of costs involves in setting up their networks. I want 3 different packages for each type of customer (small, medium, and large) so that my sales people have options to work with. Please be wise on your choice of products, would like to support from a simple ethernet network to gigabit ethernet.
Deliverables: Word document Powerpoint presentation (include pictures of products).

I would be interested in working on this project for you, I will offer to do it for $125 as described below. I have four years of experience designing, implementing and administering NT and Mid-Range Networks, everywhere from homes to restaurants to manufacturing and warehousing environments. And 4 years experience in construction including remodeling and new construction of home, apartment/town homes and businesses. I am also A+, Network+ and only a three short weeks away from being MCSE certified. There is another fellow I work with that has as much experience networking as myself. Putting all this together in a small, medium, large format of three scenarios each wouldn&'t be a problem at all. I would need some more info on the scenarios though.
1) Your definition of a small, medium and large companies (I have done small companies with 2 PC&'s as a peer to peer already and networks of 100 users calling themselves small as well) 2) Types of networks you want to deal with ((Topology: bus, ring, mesh, star),(Cabling: coaxial, 10BaseT, Ethernet, FiberOptic),(Size: LAN, MAN, WAN), protocols, etc.) 3) Quote guidelines (I only charged the same small company above $50 to do the work, are there minimums and maximums you want to use)?? 4) Limits on hardware (You probably won&'t sell many FireWire designs to 10 PC outfits) 5) How graphic intensive would you want the ppt. 6) Would these networks include Internet connectivity and associated hardware?? 7) Cabling is a tough one to can pricing for as far as pulling it so how would you want that handled as far as pricing?? (new construction, drop ceiling, raised floor, through wall, through office partitions, etc.) As well as associated hardware such as runners and tubing etc.?? Not to mention how this changes based on the topology and cable type.
I normally charge $35 an hour for services pertaining to network design and that changes based on how much work is being done after that (For example, more if I&'m running the cables, less if it's just straight hardware install, and adjusted for administration). I can perform the listed work for the above quote or if I missed something or you would like to modify anything that isn&'t a problem either. If you have any questions don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
