Description:
Need a VB function
CloseByPID( lngPID as Long, blnKillType as boolean) as boolean
The first argument is the Process ID value of the program I would like to close. The second argument chooses between forcing a close(agressive) and requesting the application to close itself(prefered). The return value indicates success or failure.
This function must work on all Windows platforms 95, 98, me, 2000, NT, XP.
You should provide a simple form with a box to input a PID and a button to test the close function.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

Please have a look at my program. It uses a function I wrote for you
To test it, run the program first, then launch Notepad and type something
Click on a refresh button of the program to get the Process ID , enter Process ID or click on the process in a list box and click on 'kill' button.
Test it with 'forcing a close' check box.
Let me know how it works and if you are interested I will make my bid stright away.
