Sequential & Binary Search in C++
Bid Request Id: 6095

|
Description:
The program first must assemble an ordered list of elements. The user is to enter integer values and these are to be placed in an ordered list. After this the user is prompted to enter a value to find, and a searching method to find it. Either sequential search or binary search is to be used. Example: After entering the list of integers the user chooses to search for the value 24 with a binary search. The program should let the user know if an element of the desired value is found, and how many "key comparisons" were used to find it. The program must be implemented with an array. The numbers should be entered into the array as the user provides them so the list is ordered.
Deliverables: Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. Must be executable in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0.
Special Conditions / Other:
I will need completion by December 9th. I have 2 more programs due soon and would like to see how this one turns out.
