C++ Internet Explorer Toolbar
Bid Request Id: 59021

Description:
I have a C++ program (source code) that places a toolbar in Internet Explorer. The toolbar is a dropdown list of proxy server addresses. When one is selected, it automatically changes the LAN proxy server settings in IE (Tools - Internet Options - Connections) without manually going into those settings.
I need the program modified so that it also changes the proxy for other connections (dialup). I do not think this is too complicated, but I do not know C++, and the original coder is not available.
Please place a bid if (any one of below):
1- You have a rating on RAC... OR 2- You can provide a small sample demonstrating your ability to do this enhancement... OR 3- You can show you have knowledge of the functions needed to automatically change the proxy settings
Thank you!
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
4) Must be completed within 5 days of acceptance of the bid.
Platform:
Windows 98, ME, 2000 XP
Internet Explorer 5.5 and higher

I can supply you the desired functionality in either form of a C function (a dll exporting a function) or a C++ class (a dll exporting a class).
Depending on the desired functionality (and current version of the installed browser - I saw that you mentioned IE 5.5, but maybe you'll want to consider later also 4.x browser), the final result can set current connection's option or global settings.
Here you have a demo application listing proxy settings. It is NOT setting the options. just displaying them, and is intended only as a demonstration of my WinInet skills. It is tested on a Windows 2000 SP3 workstation using a proxy server.
The prototype can be delivered in no more than two days after bid acceptance, or more, if you need also some other details to be considered. Other demo applications can be done as well, if you need.
All the best,
Cristian Amarie
