Description:
The rule of 72 is used to make a quick estimate of the time required for prices to double due to inflation. If the inflation rate is r percent, then the rule of 72 estimates that prices will double in 72/r years. For instance,at an inflation rate of 6 %, prices double in about 72/6 or 12 years. write a program involving do loops to test the accuracy of this rule. the program should display a table showing, for each value of r from 1 to 20, the rounded value of 72/r and the actual number of years for prices to double at an r percent inflation rate. (assume prices increase at the end of each year.)

problem #2) this should be a seperate form and program.
Depreciation to a salvage value of 0. for tax purposes an item may be depreciated over a period of several years, n. With the straight line method of depriciation, each year the item depreciates by 1/nth of it original value. with the double declininning balance method of depreciation, each year the item depreciates by 2/nths of its value at the beginning of that year. (in the last year it is depreciated by its value at the beginning of the year.) write a program that:
a) requests a descripton of the item, the year of purchase, the cost of the item, the number of years to be depreciated, and the method of depreciation. the method of depreciation should be chosen by clicking one of the two command buttons.
b) Displays a depreciation schedule for the item similar to this
Description: computer
year of purchase: 1999
cost: $2,000
estimated life: 5
method of depreciation; double-declining-balance

Deliverables:
