I would be happy to undertake this job for you. I am a freelance PHP/MySQL programmer.
I have had considerable experience modifying phpBB, having done so for several other sites. I pretty well know the script insidee out.
Have a look at: www.ontracknz.nz , www.wbh.org.nz and www.waihekeplanning.org.nz I did all the php/mysql work on these sites including all the phpBB customisations.
I gather this search will be available once you go into a particular forum?
What you want done should be quite straight forward. Firstly you need an sql query to extract the data required. This will look in the messages table and get the topic ids for the topics where the most recent poster id is the one you want. You then extract those headers from the topics table.
Once the data has been retrieved, you need some php code to open viewforum.php and display the topics retrieved instead of everything. As data is intially stored in an array when first retrieved from the database, this should be a simple matter of swapping one array for the other.
Once this is done you just place a button (or other control) where you want it to activate this search.
I am not too busy just now so can start straight away.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
