Description:
Is it possible to change the current javascript cart(see attached file) to extract all the information from an Access Database?
If so, can it extract the information by catagories?
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Hello RDJ, this is an updated bid. Previously we thought that as if you want to convert this cart to ASP+Access. But, now we realized that you want it to be only HTML and JS. So here is our new offer:
Firstly, I don't recommend Access for this project. MS Access is a Windows Product, and about +70% sites are hosted on Linux machines. Linux do not have built-in capability to process MDB files, even if we find an Interface that can be used to extract data from MDB, it would not be easy to use.
Here is what I recommend: look at the attached file. It would be better to store all data in one text file. This will include Product Numbers, Retail Prices, Discounted Prices and Description. We may also store names of images as well.
The advantage of this single text file is that it would be easy to manage and user friendly. (Please note, that we may change the structure of this file, and attached file just gives you an idea of how the final catalog will look like).
RDJ, if you don't find someone who can offer you MS Access based solution that runs with HTML and JS, then we would request you to consider our bid. I am sure, that we can come up to your standards for future projects.
