Description:
I have a VB6/Access 97 program designed for distribution to as wide base of computers as possible. When I compiled using VB&'s Package and Deployment Wizard (PDW) I ran into a number of installation problems, especially with Windows Me and 2000.
I need a programmer with experience in creating robust setup / installations, preferably with Windows Installer or perhaps some other program like WISE or InstallShield so my program will install on a wider base. Should be able to troubleshoot bugs etc.

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

Hi!
I have done a lot of installations even with graphical interface or without user possibility to interfere with the running installation script. I usually use direct 'coding' in the MSI tables so I see all the actions that will be done during installation. But I have done also some installation using the InstallShield as well as Wise Installer or VSI Installer.
If you send me the packages you intend to install and the specification of actions to be done during installation I am ready to prepare the example within 2 days.
Then we can accomodate the GUI upon your requests.
I am able to supply the future support of the install script for free.
