Description:
This is a program that will mimic the scheduler and notification program from SQL server Job program with some modification.
The program will be use to schedule files transfer and notification of completion. The files transfer application, is not in the scope of this project.
This project scope is to provide all the functionality for schedule and notification (front end/backend)
The asp pages will mimic the Job scheduler and notification screen from SQL Server 2000. Sufficient JavaScript code has to be done to enable/disable the control as on the Microsoft implementation and validate the job to be correct.
This pages will open as popup windows and will receive 2 arguments: email varchar(60) and JobID int
This is valid for both programs (scheduler and notification)
You have to reverse engineer the table from msdb database and provide store procedure to add/update/delete the jobs and notification. Most of the time you have to modify the current procedures which already exist in the msdb
Provide a store procedure which take as argument email varchar(60). This will return all the jobs that user (email) has. The column for scheduled time has to be verbose (as in Microsoft implementation)
Also you have to create a store procedure that I run ones a day (midnight) This store procedure wills query the schedule table and will do the following: will run a store procedure like this: Addjob JobId, TimeToRun
You do NOT have to code the Addjob procedure. Just call it. Addjob procedure is moving the job into a queuing table to be process at the right time during the day by a separate program (not within the scope of this project)
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
