Description:
You are participating in the World Internet Initiative (WII) project which aims to build Internet in all the countries in the World. You are required to select one country(ICELAND) for which it will be necessary to:

a) Assess current telecommunications situation in this country and produce brief executive report about it which is supported by the use of reference sources;
b) Obtain where possible realistic costs for various items such as pieces of equipment and costs of leased lines and itemise them in the report;
c) Design network infrastructure for a new Internet Service Provider (ISP) in this country which is based in at least 10 major locations in the country (i.e. at least 10 nodes in the WAN). Design shall reflect current population in each location and estimated traffic produced by each ISP customer per day. Good designs shall reflect trends in population changes.
There are many possible answers to the problem outlined in c) and you should assess your solutions for their quality and cost. This requires that you put forward a number of solutions and discuss which are the most appropriate for the ISP

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.·

Familiarise with telecommunications situations in selected countries.
·
Experiment with various network designs produced by different algorithms implemented in the Network Design Tool Delite;
·
Compare various parameters of the different designs, produce tables and diagrams for analysis (using Excel);
·
Analyse data and produce conclusions about network designs;

Requirement Analysis. Corresponds to a) and b) above. This includes collecting necessary data about country (e.g. copies of maps), selecting locations and obtaining population data as well as all other cost-relevant information (fixed and per km costs).
·

Traffic Analysis, Construction of the Input files for Delite. By the end of this week it is expected that you will be ready to start generating various network designs using algorithms provided by the Delite. ·

Generating various designs for future evaluation. Make sure you print all the designs (as well as all other supporting Delite data files) and enclose it into your report. Pay special attention to the data on Performance (Capacity and Delay parameters of the links), Reliability, and Costs.
·
Evaluation designs and selecting recommended options

· Report produced with MS Word - PRINTED AND BINDED. The following must be included into the Report:
·
· Abstract (up to 0.5 A4 page briefly describing the scope of the WORK, experimental set-up, used tools, Report structure).
· Table of contents.
· Section 1: Analysis of Telecommunications Situation in iceland
· Section 2: Data for Costing Wide Area Network Design in Iceland. Here all the data are presented together with explanation of sources from where data are obtained and justification of the source. If there are no data available for Iceland then choice of alternative costing options must be explained (e.g. using data for neigbouring country, using BT rates, etc.).
· Section 3: New ISP Location Plan and Traffic Estimates. Here maps are provided with estimates for the expected traffic for each location as well as contents of the Traffic Tables are explained.
· Section 4: Network Designs Produced with the Help of Delite. Here are shown all the pictures for produced designs as well as tables describing various design parameters.
· Section 5: Evaluation Designs and Selecting Recommended Option for Iceland. Here designs are compared and ranked using Performance (Capacity, and Delay) as well as Reliability and Cost parameters.
· Conclusions (for the whole project summarising observations from Sections 1-5)
· References (bibliographical description of all the sources used for writing the theory/discussions in Sections 1-5)
· Appendics (printouts of all the files, clearly titled with exact file names, etc.)
· Full Report as well as all the data files (i.e. *.gen, *.inp, *.net) as well as all Excel files used for producing diagrams for the report must be included on the attached floppy disk/CD-ROM.

Useful Information Sources for this PROJECT:
· CIA World Facts Book (available on the Web in many places)
· International Telecommunications Union (ITU) - http://www.itu.int/home/index.html

Hello Sir!

My name is Augustin Ciobotariu, I am a student on the computer science faculty in Iasi Romania, this is an elite school here. I have lots of experience with report writing, also with research in IT domain. PLease take a look at previous ratings and projects to check my skills.
I am putting max bid even thou the max bid you are allowing is too low for this kind of work (i was thinking something around 130$) but if you will accept this bid I will provide you with best quality I can give.

I am looking forward to solve your project.
We even had clients who said our work was too good for their needs.
