Description:
I have a small VB application using MS Access for data storage. This is to be migrated to MySQL, using ODBC to connect. I am after a bullet proof module class with the functionality listed below. Samples from PSC with ADO have only shown moderate success, and this area is is not my focus, and unfortunately I don't have the time to learn.
The class can utilise ADO, or you can supply someting better if that's easier - I just need it to work well!.
Functionality required:
.connect returns 0=ok 1=not ok
.error returns error.msg
.execute returns nothing and executes SQL string
.rs returns a recodset from a query, with the ability to support ADO type commands
(.edit, .movenext, .delete, .update, .recordcount, etc)
.rsclose sets rs to nothing to avoid memory leakage
.sqlclose sets connection to nothing
I'm sure you get the gist of what I want, and can probably knock it up quicker than what it took me to type all this....
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional source code as listed in the description.
2) Ownership and distribution rights of supplied code after payment.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
