Description:
Visual Basic Programming - The Project (The program must be done in Visual Basic and all source code must be given to me once done and documented. This is a place of college work and must be do the following:
Background to the Project
The Chilterns hotel is hosting a one-day comming from 3 interested companies (SuperSoft, Infernal Machines and NetScrape).
Attendees will be able to choose various dining and residential options. They can select lunch and/or dinner on the day and may also choose to stay the night (with or without breakfast). You have been asked to design a prototype program for a simple conference billing program for the occasion. The program will collect data from each attendee as they arrive at reception.
Main Program Specification
1. The Data Entry Form
1.1 The program first asks the attendee to enter their name into a box on a data entry form.
1.2 On the same form, the attendee can then make a company selection (one of the 3 companies)
1.3 Also on the form he/she can select one or more of the hotel's dining and residential arrangements (see background above).
1.4 Clicking a Costing button on the Data Entry Form displays the total cost of the selections made and asks the user to confirm their selection n.b. Lunch is £6, dinner £12, room £25, breakfast £4.50
1.5 Another button on the form exits from the program
Extension Work
2. The Totals Form
2.1 A button on the Data Entry Form moves to the Totals form
2.2 This form displays important information for the hotel, such as:
2.2.1 Total number of attendeees.
2.2.2 Total number for each of the 3 companies.
2.2.3 Total Bill for each of the three companies
2.2.4 Overall total bill
2.3 A button on this form allows the user to move back to the Data Entry Form
2.4 Another button on the Totals form allows the Program to Exit
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. And a basic document on how it works.
2) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.(The Program must say in the comments or about box that Leslie Welch designed this program).
