Description:
For my project I need to create an online hardware store website that sells computers, laptops scanner etc. The website needs to be created using ASP (active server pages) with VBscript and the HTML can be created using DreamWeaver. The database is created using access 97. I have all the pictures and database created. It is important to use access 97 because I also have a Visual Basic system that also uses the same database
The name of the store is Online Hardware Store
My website needs to allow
1) customer and the general public to browse the shop2) Customers to log in
3) General public to register
4) A shopping cart to hold the items the customer wishes to purchase, user
should be allow to add and remove things from the cart. (very important)
5) Allow customer to order the goods, ie purchase the items in the shopping cart
6) Provide a tracking number for the customer so they they can track their order
7) allow customer to track their order.
8) allow customers to change their personal details through a form
9) some form of customer service (ie a page to show a contact number and address and email address)
10) some form of personalisation (ie welcome (user name)).
needs to use Session varible and cookies
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
