Description:
I have an existing Excel Workbook with multiple sheets in it. It has hidden columns and format-protected cells in each one.
I need my VBA code fixed so that it will write out the data in each of the rows/columns to a space-delimited .txt file in a folder on the users hard drive at the click of a toolbar button.
Each time the toolbar button is clicked, it should overwrite the existing .txt file in the users directory and replace it with the new one.
I will attach the Workbook and sample .txt file to show you what I mean.
The columns in the text files must maintain the same length of the formatted cell in the worksheet. For example, if column 1 in sheet 1 is limited to a length of 3 characters, the first column in the .txt file must not exceed 3 characters of data. There should be one space in between each of the data columns in the text files. A file layout will be developed for these output files so they must remain static.
Also, if the hidden columns are unhidden at a later date, they formatting of the .txt files must be able to write out the data in the new columns as well.
The existing VBA code works somewhat but is not finished. So it can be enhanced or started over completely.
Deliverables:
Complete and fully-functional working VBA modules as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
