Description:
A)As I understand the work is MAINLY to parse the contract sheet to figure out the number if ticks, from said data. The only tricks are the grains where we have 1/4 cent minimum ticks? The whole work is primarilily parsing all the data and TESTING that well. I need most major US futures not very important the weird ones.. but it would be nice to have as much as possible as right now I only calculate currencies. This is not a large project but I like it to be as complete as possible. Test everything that you send to me, PLEASE! B)There are some other fix up issues... When I read in a data(end of day futures) to calculate ATR I like the contract symbol to be inserted in the unit calculation sheet (and if possible auto update the info (in unit calc sheet from the contract sheet on the fly...) C) help file inclusion scheme? Ideas or suggestions please..... My job is to pay you not to test your work.....
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. Help file would be nice.... 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
windows 2000, excel 2000

My bid is for the parsing of the contracts data sheet, as you specified. We can make it so that the info updates on the fly... it's actually pretty simple to write a custom lookup function to do that. We should be able to put in some 'help buttons' in various places, or even link up help files to keyboard shortcuts. We can use regular Windows style help files, or even just HTML pages that are opened in a web browser (actually much easier and more powerful, but less elegant).
Please let me know any questions I can answer!
Thanks, Tim
