Description:
I need a program that will put a number into a website and then retrieve the information from the website for that specific number and then copy this information into an excel spreadsheet. The numbers that are put into the website have a pattern to them, but not every number will provide information that can be pasted into the excel spreadsheet. Right now we have our employees doing this repetive stuff and we would like to put there skills to better use. My company is in the mortgage business and we are just trying to get our customers loan information. If anyone would be willing to help we would greatly apreciate it. Thanks!
P.S. We are running winXP and excel 97 but are willing to upgrade if necessary.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

internet explorer 6.0
excel 97 (willing to upgrade if necessary)

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.
Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

It sounds like you need something simple, like an automated way to download some information from the web. I have seen a number of ways to do this, several of which can be put into an Excel Macro.
Given more information about the details of the web site, and what numbers will be put in, etc, I can probably have this all done within a few hours of coding time, or a turnaround time of next business day.
