Description:
Greetings!
I need a chat room created in a Unix/Linux based language like PHP, Perl, or Apache... ASAP! I have an ASP version of what it needs to be like, however extra features and additions would be welcome as well.
Current features are:
· Host & Moderator Control (I.E Kick disruptive chatters)
· Private Messaging
· Emoticons
- user lists
- chat rooms
- chat archive
- time stamped messages
- icons for smileys
- secured administration page
- delete chat archives
- create/edit/delete chat rooms
- view all users (and number of 'log-ins' to chat)
· CSS to change general look/fonts/etc.

These are what is currently in the asp version. Of course I welcome more ideas and features, however I have a limited budget for this project, as I did not expect to need this. However, I may require a PHP Message Board in the future.
Deadline is VERY cruicial, I need this ASAP.

I already have the graphics I plan to use. I dont need graphic work, however if you have something that is premade and would be cheaper to just use what you have, that would be great. I can work with what you produce.
Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Deadline legal notes: All times are expressed in the time zone of the site EDT (UT - 5). If the buyer omitted a time, then the deadline is 11:59:59 PM EDT on the indicated date.

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.
We monitor all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressers on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
