Description:
Create a Java applet, that wiil allow the movie theatre employee to select the movie as indicated by the customer. It should have the following functionality: Main screen, Detail list box, movie list box, room list box, pricte text field, total takings text field rating and seatings available list boxes, yellow and green label for child and adult movies. Also, select button, clear and clear all button, update button, movie update window. You have to create at least 2 classes.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.

Windows, using Visual J++ 6.0 not Visual .NET

Special Conditions / Other:
The java program has to be compatible with Netscape and Internet Explorer so please run on both browsers before submitting the completed work.
Must have msn messenger or yahoo messenger for communication purposes.

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

I don't want to violate Rentacoder's contact rules, so I'm going to guess that I can knock out the GUI issues fairly easily. I've been working as a Java developer for 3 years, primarily doing stuff with AWT, Swing, and databases. To keep the GUI compatible with a browser, we'd probably most definitely need to use plain AWT, as most browsers don't have the javax.swing package installed. If you could post a URL where we might find the requirements you mentioned, that would help. |
