Description:
I need a VB6 executable program that tracks, forecasts and e-mails a message when an employee review is needed (every 90 days). The front end user will need to be able to see when the next Review is due by viewing the employee's name, supervisor, deparment, hire date, date of last Review, date of next review needed. They should be able to view all employees at once, and have the ability to filter the view by department, supervisor, due date etc. The user will also need to notify the supervisor via outlook e-mail, enter in a date when the supervisor was notified, and capture the amount of time the supervisor took to respond to the request wit the review completed. I envison a form with a flex grid listing all employees, with command buttons for filters, and command buttons to send an e-mail to a specific Supervisor including the employees information and the date their next review is due. Each row could have a command button that the caption changes indicating the e-mail needs to be sent or displaying the number of days left until the next review is due.The system should send/prompt to send this information 14 days before the re-occurring 90 day interval. The starting date is the employees hire date. I would also like to have the ability to run some pre-written reports ie: How many reviews are due? by supervisor, department, or overall, response time of Supervisor on average. I can supply the table with all of the employee data (500 employees)I would think that the front-end would be an executable VB6 interface, linked to an access database that stores the table information. But I am open to suggestions also. That's it. Thank you!

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

I'm trying to teach myself how to write a proper VB6 program. I have already created programs similar to this in MS Access and I just attended my first college VB class , I would like to begin creating my applications in VB, but I do not have the skills to do this presently. I'm hoping to use this program as a teaching guide for me, created by a professional VB programmer.
I can create a non- functional form in VB if you feel you will need it to understand what I'm looking for graphically.

Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business projects < $500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and seller agreements.

My bid is for the fully functioning VB application, utilizing an Access database on the backend, and making use of CDONTS to send the e-mails. I can have this together within three business days (maybe less, of course!). Please let me know any questions you might have, and what else I can do for you.
