Description:
We have a activeX ocs that we signed with our digital certificate but when we place the object in IE then it gets the certificate but then still displays an IE warning about ActiveX controls and on some systems (win2k / IE6 Medium security) will not work. I dont know why as the certificates are valid.
The control I think needs to be marked safe for scriptiing? Its written in c++ and I can provide all code/certificates.
Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
Platform:
Windows 98/2000/XP/Me IE 5+

Hi
[...but when we place the object in IE then it gets the certificate but then still displays an IE warning about ActiveX controls and on some systems (win2k / IE6 Medium security) will not work.]
What exactly do you mean by 'will not work'?
I can make your control safe for scripting, just want to check if this is really what's causing the problem.
Good luck, Ivan
